That’s right sweethearts, Facebook Stories is coming to our Business Pages with the same ability as our favorite Instagram Stories features that we know and love.
Not too long ago the Instagram Stories function introduced the powerful ability to post your IG Stories to Facebook, creating a streamlined process for entrepreneurs looking to grow their presence on both platforms. However, the odd match up of IG and Facebook leaves a sour taste in the mouths of those who are not in the market to harass their friends on the regular with ad-like features that are posted to Instagram accounts strictly used for business.
“We’ve been listening to our community and working to make it fast, fun, and easy for people and Pages to create Stories on Facebook,” Amy Sun, Facebook product manager, told TechCrunch. “Over the coming month, Pages will be able to create Stories to share with the people who follow them.”
With Facebook lowering its reach and marketing folks swinging at the worst Organic Reach in history, this could be a big gamechanger for reach and could be a good way to stay front of mind. While we’ve noticed the Facebook Live Videos are losing momentum, a solid strategy including all pieces of the puzzle is important. Overdoing anything social or weighing one thing more heavily than another can be a recipe for crazy town.
