What to Expect in Your First 30 Days

Knowledgebase Social Media Management What to Expect in Your First 30 Days

The first month is all about getting the foundation right. Here is what happens and when so you always know where things stand.

Week 1 — Onboarding and setup

We start by getting access to your accounts, reviewing your existing content and brand assets, and getting clear on your goals. If there is a strategy session scheduled, it happens here. By the end of week one, we know your business, your audience, and what we are working toward.

Week 2 — Strategy and first drafts

We will put together your content direction — what we are posting, how often, and what we are saying. You will see your first round of content drafts for review. This is where your feedback matters most, because it helps us dial in your voice quickly.

Week 3 — First posts go live

Once content is approved, we start publishing. We handle scheduling, captions, hashtags, and formatting for each platform.

Week 4 — Review and adjust

At the end of the first month, we look at what is working and what we can improve. You will receive your first performance summary.

What we need from you in month one

  • Account access (see the article on sharing access)
  • Brand assets — logo, colors, fonts if you have them
  • Any existing content or photos you would like us to use
  • About an hour of your time for an onboarding conversation

The more context you give us upfront, the faster we can hit your stride. Most clients feel like things are really clicking by month two.
